JUMPEROO REVIEW

It's here, we finally got it! We'd been thinking about getting a Fisher Price Jumperoo for our son, Zac, for weeks and I'm so glad we got round to buying one. He absolutely loves it. We chose the Rainforest model because it was the most recent addition to the range.

When I opened the box I thought that it was going to be quite difficult to assemble because there are quite a lot of components to the Jumperoo but it was very straightforward and only took about 10 minutes. Our son is almost four months and weighs about 16lbs, his feet don't quite touch the ground when he's in the Jumperoo but with the aid of a cushion he is able to bounce around like crazy.

It's made life much easier for us because he is able to entertain himself for approx 20 mins at a time and allows us to get on with other things.

FEATURES OF THE JUMPEROO

The Jumperoo features a seat which spins 360 degrees to enable him to play with any of the attached toys. The toys around the outside of the Jumperoo consist of spinning rattles, a pop-up tiger (very cute), parrots, a frog and some lights and music. The seat is suspended by three elasticated straps to enable the child to bounce up and down or swing gently from side to side. The straps have three different height levels to enable you to adjust when your little one starts to grow. Your child must be able to support their head unaided to be able to use this toy.

SUMMARY

We are really happy with the Fisher Price Jumperoo. It keeps our son entertained in a safe enviroment and it helps improve the strength in his neck, trunk and legs. The accompanying toys keep him stimulated (even if the music can get annoying!). We were a bit reluctant to buy this product because of the price but we undoubtably made a great choice as our son loves it and we should get at least 6 months use out of it. We highly recommend the Fisher Price Jumperoo

SOME REVIEWS OF THE JUMPEROO FROM AMAZON

Here's some reviews courtesy of Amazon if you'd like some other opinions-

Bought one of these last week for my 5 month old. (16lb) Wasn't happy about the price at the time but its worth every penny. He started off just playing with the spinning toys. Its taken him a week to figure out he can bounce in it and he now gleefully jumps up and down for up to an hour! It seems very safe - it has to be because he'd launch himself if he could - and the toys are enough to keep his interest. It takes up a lot of floor space but our front room already looked like a kids playground so who cares. No idea how long the novelty will last, but its great to watch him bouncing and giggling away. Just to be able to get tasks done without worrying about what he's up to every minute makes it a godsend. Lynn Potts

My daughter loves this. We chose this as we have two dogs and did not think a door bouncer would be a good idea. This really grows with your baby and creates a safe environment for them to play and even gives you five minutes to do some chores, that is if you can stop yourself from watching your baby amuse themselves! Only down side it is expensive! J Borda

I bought my son, who is 4 months old, this jumperoo last week and no matter what mood he is in (teething) he laughs as soon as i put him in it! There are plenty of toys to amuse them as well. It is Pricey but it's worth it. It is really sturdy so you can be sure that your baby is safe. Alfie Fisher Price Zen
